Testing in Encino

Encino has two very different kinds of jobs. North of Ventura Boulevard it is mostly mid-century single-story homes on flat lots, with ducts running through hot attics, and those ducts are where change-outs fail. South of the boulevard the hillside lots bring large remodels and full rebuilds, which usually mean new construction testing with a rough visit while the framing is open.

Encino is part of the City of Los Angeles, so permits and the final inspection go through LADBS, the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. The ECC certificates we file with CHEERS are what the inspector looks for before signing off.
